You can lead a horse to water but you can't make a 5 year old sleep for that long. I would say that would be OK just to see you try to do it. I have 3 kids and I know it would never happen.

Why not look at putting the kid into a play center from 3pm-7-8 pm each night if your needs are so much more important then your child's.
Then the child should be in bed asleep by 8:30 everynight if they get up by 6am. Mine does because of her school schedule.
What stuns me most is your GF obviously has NO desire to be near this kid and help take care of it and you ask a question seeming like the child is an inconvience to you.
If you don't want to be a parent or just desire to not be responsible for this one then please look into rivate adoption, see if someone in your family wants to take permenat custody. There must be another option then a child growing up feeling unwanted by a parent.
I certainly hope you do the right thing by your child and either decide to take resonsiblity and raise them properly or give them to someone who will and can give them proper care.
Lots of people find themselves parents and decide they aren't capable or prepared for the task but being a bad parent over giving the child a chance with a family who cares is worse then anything else.

Hasn't anybody ever heard of "by no skill wake a sound asleep toddler". A 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous remains somewhat baby. in the experience that your lady changed into so drained that she fell asleep, enable her sleep. Wake her up and also you would have one cranky youngster. maximum youthful toddlers her age sleep 12 hours at nighttime besides.

For you to make a child go to bed at 3 pm till 6 am is extremely wrong and if any one that is smart enough that knows you they will and should turn you in to children services! That child wants to play! you had your turn at 5 now let them. If you need your time then when they go to bed at 9pm or even 8pm then you can play! children are first in any ones book!

What drugs are you giving that child that would make him/her sleep that long? Don't say you're not, that's the only way you can get a child to sleep for length of time. I hope the authorities are reading this, too.

Why the heck did you have a kid if you want to shove it in a room to hang with your girlfriend? Grow up!

yes..... if you let him sleep that much and that early, he will get used to it in the future and that won't be good for him or his education. You have to think about your priorities and stop thinking of only yourslef.

uh....yeah!!! thats okay though, you wont realize how bad it is until your child is old enough to tell you " you were never there for me anyway so f**k off!" then you will realize that you went wrong somewhere.
