The automated plasmapheresis machine removes whole blood, mixes it with an anticoagulant solution, separates the plasma into a container, then re-infuses the red blood cells back into the body. To much anticoagulant solution introduced to your blood system gives you that tinkling feeling like in a vibrating chair till your system removes it. If you get that feeling, tell someone during the proceedure. Otherwise, sit back, relax, enjoy the movie, enjoy your snack, and drink lots of fluids. Otherwise I don't know of any long term side effects.

Not really,
Very Short term side effects may be feeling dizzy or weak. But some ppl it doen't phase at all, just depends on the person, the meal they had before, etc. But this dizziness again is short term, like less than an hour. Just chill out and relax and the feeling passes quickly.

But think of the good your doing. I think a few minutes of your time to help someone that needs plas to survive if worth the mild inconvience.

Yes. Short term-dizziness and weakness. Go eat a cheese burger.

If you do it frequently enough you will get scar tissue on your veins just like a junkie.

And most people do it because they are desperate for money not out of the goodness of their hearts.
Its a huge industry.

For most people it does not. I have seen people pass out. It isn't a bad way to make a couple hundred bucks a month.

It will make most people feel a little tired and like they haven't eaten for a while. Plenty of people faint after doing it.
