You will gain a gutt and u will gain weight. Its all normal. Im now 27wks and have put on about 14lbs heavier. I was never really an active person before, but i didnt eat that much. Now i get sugar and nut cravings all the time. Its normal to put on weight during pregnancy. 33lbs is the rough average so dont worry. Just enjoy seeing your baby grow and worry about weight loss after the birth!

The weight gain is a very normal aspect of pregnancy. Your monthly OB/GYN visitations will keep you informed as to how much weight you have gained, and whether or not you need to "cut back" on the fatty foods. While it is natural to gain anywhere from 15-25 pounds during pregnancy you must keep in mind that the more weight you gain---you will have to work that much harder in order to return to your pre-pregnancy state. If you gain 25 pounds and the baby only weighs 6 pounds well, you have 19 pounds to shed after you give birth. Congratulations on being a "new" mommy soon.

First pregnancy women always seem to gain weight for the wrong reasons. We think it's our duty because we want our babies to be big and healthy. You say your eating for baby, big mistake. You should only be eating for yourself. You say you was very active before pregnancy and any doctor will tell you exercise is key during pregnancy especially if you were active before pregnancy. Light work outs will help tremendously. Eating healthy and only when your hungry will slow your weight gain and help a lot during labor. The better you take care of yourself now the better off you'll be during labor and post partum.

I am 5'1 too was 105 pre pregnancy with my first and gained 30lbs. After you have the baby you'll be a little shocked to descover you still look 5mo pregnant! but dont worry if you've been fit all your life you will go back down almost to your original size even without working out that much. I did!! Dont stress over it. I have two babies now and weigh 110.

I am 5'1 too and was 110 pre pregnancy. I am now 140 (at 8 months pregnant). It won't all go to your gut.... I find most of mine has actually gone to these huge fat pads that have developed where the back of my bra goes... yikes! Also a lot went to my boobs. It all seems to have concentrated in that area.

: O

Don't try to worry too much... as long as you dont get past 145, it should come off pretty easily after you have your baby.

At sixteen weeks the uterus has not grown above your abdomen button yet. it will be around 5 months whilst it reaches that component. The uterus has to stretch and strengthen so a being pregnant isn't all comfortable each and every of the time.

Stay as active as you were before. Provided your dr. says it is okay. You don't want to gain more than 30-40 pounds with the baby.

I went from 115 to 133 in 9 months, but I was all baby.

Use coacoa butter everyday!!!! It works with reducing stretchmarks..

Drinking water and staying active will help with weight gain too.

I weighed 132 before pregnancy, 162 as final weight. I am now 136 lbs. 6 wks post partum. your "gut" will eventually round out. If it makes u feel better, i didn't exercise the whole time i was pregnant.
