It's water. It doesn't feel wet, but you have an annoying "sound" when you move your jaw and there is a little bit of pressure.
Get some rubbing alcohol.
Pour some in the cap.
Lean your head to the side.
Pour it in your affected ear.
Lean your head to the other side.
The alcohol will "pull" the water out of your ear. It won't burn, it will just feel cold, like if you put it on unbroken skin.

My ears ALWAYS feel like this!!! I go through more q-tips than should be allowed by law.
Dip a q-tip in alcohol so its good and wet, swab around the ear a bit...dries up the water - if there is any there.
I've asked my doctors to check my ears everytime I go in for anything, hoping they'd find something to explain it. But to no avail. Really annoying though.

If I were you I'd take some decongestants tonight and again tomorrow night. The decongestant will help alleviate the feeling of water in your ear. I don't think that a q-tip reaches far enough into your ear to really help and if it did it would damage your ear drum and I am leery of the alcohol suggestions. My family physician recommended decongestants and told me to try not to get water in my ears when I shower when I went to him with a similar problem.

Use a hair dryer set on low. Grab the top of your ear and gently
pull back and hold. This will open ear canal. Hold the hair
dryer about arm's length and aim for your ear. Slowly move
the dryer back and forth for about 10 minutes. This should
dry up your ear. If you feel like something is still in your ear put
two drops of Deborex ear drops in your ear. This will remove any wax. Next time try putting ear plugs in before you shower or
swim.

Lay down with that ear on a heating pad or hot towel. It should relieve the pressure.

There could be water in them from having a shower. If it's your left ear, stand on your left foot, lean as far as you can to the left, lift your right leg off the ground and shake it. It used to help me after swimming

Boy, you got so many ridiculous answers to this one.
It is probably wax. Some people have more ear wax than others. You need to get your ear washed out. It is very easy and painless. See your doctor...
