I've been told by a quite a few guys that I am a smart, beautiful and funny but I've only had one boyfriend. I've heard a lot of rumors that most guys think I had a boyfriend when I wasn't dating. So are guys just intimidated by girls who have brains and looks?

This is a common problem.
In highschool I wish many times I would have been bolder with a girl like you .. but I thought she was taken and I was not good enough. If she had hinted more .. who knows. Years later I heard she liked me too, but by then it was too late.
The converse is also often true .. that the girl desperatly wants someone more successful and older than they are. I got dumped three times for that reason.
Be nice and be kind. Make the first move if things are not happening. hard for both sexes . harder for girls.

Guys are intimidated by a lot of things. The things that intimidate them vary from guy to guy. If you like a guy, then maybe youi should ask him out. This will likely impress him. If you choose not to, then one will still come along. Just give it a little time and god will send you "Mr. Right".

I don't know how old you are, but ... in high school, yeah. At university, less so, because you are around brainier people. Depends where you hang, the type of people around. Since I'm cerebral myself, I really like smart girls, but they seem hard to find. At least in the mid-size city I am currently living in. Its different in bigger cities, that act as a magnet for talented and ambitious people.

yep....guys dont have alot of confidence when it comes to girls even if they act like they do...actually i think that they are alot more insecure than girls are....i think you will have to do the picking of the guy or guys you want to date and then talk to them to the point where they don't feel scared or threatened...that's what i did and it worked

nicely, 5'10" is tall, yet its not over the genuine, as long as your not lots taller than the adult men. i for my area like curvy women far extra then popsicle stick skinny women. it would desire to easily be your top.
