My understanding is that is has a little more because sometimes it's flavoring is actually syrup.

To the best of my knowledge, coffee itself has an insignificant amount of calories (coffee is 90% water). Since the flavors that are added to most coffee are added while still warm after being roasted, most blends of coffee use an extract which is high in flavor and lower in calorie inflating additives. Much of this will depend on the brand and quality of the coffee. (Most coffees do not even list the nutritional values on them)

Working in a cafe/ roastery for years, the flavoring agent we used was nothing more than an extract, rolled over the beans before grinding. So my answer would have to be.. not anymore colories than what is in the extract itself.

I guess it depends what you use as a flavoring agent. It all likelihood, yes, flavored coffee (or any beverage) will have a higher caloric content.
