I would like to find a Prosumer or SLR-like camera, which supports Compact Flash Type II card (Micro Drive).

The 'prosumer' class of camera has really died. Taken over by the low price DSLRs. Last of the best (IMHO) was the Minolta A2- which does have such a slot.

I don't think I'd even call the panasonic FZ30/50 series prosumer, as their sensor is just too dang small. Even the new Canon G7 or lovely $2000 Panasonic L1 uses SD cards.

I think you're SOL. Really none of the newer higher end consumer cameras use Compact Flash any more. Except the previously mentioned Sony R1, if you happen to like that bohemoth. Certainly not worth it to buy the camera just because it fits the card.

On the good side, you can get a new high speed 2Gb SD card for really cheap.

The Sony DSC-R1 camera can use Compact Flash I and II. This is a fixed lens camera but is comparable in quality to most entry level dSLR cameras:

There's a lot of models to chose from. Go to this database:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare.asp
In the first search field, select 'SLR-like'
Then 3/4 down the page, for Storage type, select 'Compact Flash'
Then hit the 'Compare' button.
The results page (which I can't link to) will give the specs for all of the relevant modes side-by-side, with in-depth reviews for most of them.
Note that it only gives the first 10 cameras it finds - you might want to add more search criteria to narrow the list down.
