I was just looking up info on plantar warts - the ones on the bottom of feet - says they are caused by the HP virus same as genital warts. It recommended taping garlic to the wart overnight and then sanding or clipping the softened skin. You are talking about a much more sensitive part but I imagine the treatment is the same. Doctors can burn them off (this was not a great option for feet because the the constant pressure) so - what is the worst that could happen? You unit may fall off! But no more warts.

You can't do that at all. Genital warts are not 1 or 2 warts here and there.... they are hundreds of tiny little bumps.

Over the counter remedies don't work well even on one wart. I had to bring my son to the dermatologist to have it frozen off after trying everything under the sun.

That's what they will use on you in the doctor's office... they sort of freeze it off. The get the whole area -- completely. It's VERY important because genital warts is highly contagious and it leads to cervical cancer.

It's not worth your life!

First of all, it's important to know that warts on the skin (such as on the fingers, feet and knees) and warts on the genitals are removed in different ways. Don't try any home remedies or over-the-counter drugs to remove warts on the genital area. You could hurt your genital area by putting certain chemicals on it.

I don't know. But as long as you have them, you are contagious. If you get any of that stuff on your mucus membranes, it'll hurt like crazy! Better to go to a doctor & get the proper treatment.

It would probably really sting. YOu need to get to a GUM clinic and get it sorted. It is confidential so not even your GP needs to know
