Because he's only 2!!! Gosh, you should be glad he's potty trained already. Most boys are at least 3 before they will even consider using the potty!
Is the deeper issue here that you feel your wife is giving so much attention to your son and neglecting you? It is common to feel this way. Talk about it to her, and find some special time for just the two of you. Then you won' t feel aggravated when your son needs your wife's attention.

Because when he was being potty trained he was more than likely rewarded or praised lavishly for peeing in the toilet. Mom was probably the parent who oversaw his training, therefore he tells her still because he associates it with positive reactions from her.

Nice to see you aren't dealing with YOUR FAMILY issues.

IF you spent more time with YOUR FAMILY, you would know how hard it is to TRAIN a kid to USE the potty.

Part of that is getting the kid TO THE POTTY before he needs to change his clothes.

IT IS A LEARNING PROCESS.

YOU need to LEARN that the world does NOT revovle around YOU and it is YOUR responsibility to be more then a sperm donor.

LIVE, LOVE, LEARN & TEACH.

she probably babies him too much and now he's very dependent on her, he is becoming a mama boy. If he still has a pacifier or uses a bottle stop those things too.
