OK, this kid at school i like as a friend asked me out to homecoming, and i panicked and said yes. 20 min later, a hot kid i like in my math class asked me to go to homecoming. you get the dilema hopefully.

Simple way to handle it...
If this friend ...is really just liking you as a friend, and you were his "safe" choice to ask- then, he wouldn't be suprised if you sat down and told him the truth.
Secondly, while I'm sure it's great that the hot kid asked you...you have to consider what he's like. If it means risking hurting a friend you care about...tell the hot kid the true situation, and how you would really have wanted to go with him but dont want to hurt your friend...honesty has a way of working things out for you and what could happen is that your friend and some others including the hot guy- decide to share a limo, all go "alone" but in a group (everyone paying their own way) and, then it's a free reign to stick to or with whoever you want that night!

do you watch any teen shows on television? this happens all the time. did you say yes to both of them? hope not. ok, your friend must have had to put up a lot of courage to ask you, b/c since you are friends, he has more to lose. do you know anything about this hott dude? probably not as much as you do about your friend. plus, he asked you first, so to me, that makes it seem that he wanted you more. i know it was only 20 minutes before the other kid, but this other kid sees you every day in math class. correct? he should have asked sooner. go with your friend, not some stranger. you'll have more to talk about with your friend. just keep the atmosphere easy make some jokes, but don't look like an idiot. basically, play it cool with your friend and enjoy yourself. the hott dude is probably a jerk.

you made a commitment to the first guy, if you are a kind person you will follow through with your commitment.. It is just a dance and if the hot looking guy is really interested he will come around later.. If you chose to dump the first guy, you are putting bad karma on yourself and what comes around goes around..

You already said yes to one guy, so you just need to make it clear that you only like him as a friend. Get to know the hott guy first, sometimes there looks can be decieving.

well.. i guess you should go with the guy that asked you to go first. just tell the guy you liked that you`ll go to the next dance with him say that someone asked you first. but he`s your friend. but let the guy you like know that you like him. and that you just don`t want to hurt your friend`s feelings. good luck ! =]
