You are sweet, loving, and kind. And all of those things we are all guilty of. Perhaps God is a lot more loving and understanding than many realize or believe.

without totally understanding the context of "why" God would desire to strike you down, it quite is confusing to point an answer. the only reason i will think of of is which you percieve which you probably did some thing extraordinarily evil and that the penalty if there's a God is which you would be struck down via lightning. yet think of if this became real, then it supplies a situation to the tens of millions of human beings appearing out of their own will to extra themselves yet in the technique harm human beings. handy because it could seem to purely strike all of them down, i'm particular it quite isn't the way a loving God might desire to portray himself. (or herself)

OK fess up how many "bad people" have you ever known to be struck down by God with lightening.
If you really want to know about God's judgment, there are loads of people who'd love to tell you, but the truth would not contain lightening. God's heart is for all to come into right relationship with God and enjoy God's love. Sorry you got such bum info.

It dosen't work like that.
Here's how it works.
The devil tempts you to do unGodly things knowing that you will Reap what you have Sown. Then, when the Curses come down on you from Sinning, the Devil tells you that GOD is doing it cause HE hates you and you sin.
Now, all the Time your Reaping Curses because the Devil tempted you to Sin and you fell for it, GOD is trying to Keep you Alive Long enough to Accept Jesus as your Saviour so that the Devil can't take you to Hell with him, cause YOU can get Saved and satan (devil) cannot. Satan hates all Human Beings and tries to Destroy us and then get us to think GOD did it.
GOD Loves you, don't fall for satans LIES.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
Mat 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead [men].
Mat 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
Mat 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen
God is so powerful , Lightning is the least example of what will strike a person when before him one day, which we all will be like it or not. -seek the truth while HE MAY BE FOUND.

Live it up sista!
Perhaps the God that so many purport to have the "lightening" does not exist. Besides, if they are right you can always accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior in the last moments of life and then you can go to heaven. My theory is that you have only one body and you ought to use it as long as you can!
I think I know Lucifer's cousin.....

Perhaps it is because you are living in Pennsylvania. After all, Ben Franklin invented the Lightening Rod. You should pray to Ben every day for saving you.

when God loves someone, he punishes him/her right away after the sin is made (its a bless)because punishment in life is much much merciful than afterlife, so the ones who God loves get punished in life so they can go to heaven later. try to be good thats all and God wont disappoint u.

Who ever said he had to? trust me you'll die one day. if God would do that, people would post a question like "i thought God was a God of love" but if you really want to change it's not to late until you die

He is biding his time my dear friend, and he is giving you a chance to turn from your wicked ways. However, if you choose not to, which is your right, you will suffer the consequence and you will spend eternity separated from him, suffering in Hell.
