I'm going to be in my friend's out of state wedding and I'm partners with a really great guy. (He also lives out of state) I barely know him! How can our traditional dance at the wedding not be weird?

I say Seize the moment. Your going to be in a wedding and looking fabulous right? So make sure everything goes well. Smile, be pleasant with conversation and get to know him. He will know it is apart of tradition to dance. Just make sure you know how. Go with the flow, and enjoy the company of a good man. Make plans to go out with him later in a group of a few close friends. Go with the flow. Have fun and good luck

Oh for crying out loud! Just dance with the man. Just because there will be a preacher on the premises doesn't mean you have to marry him.

Seize a chance for a dance at the rehearsal dinner. Just have fun and relax.
