Because he is just a baby. If a boy at 2 can recognize he has to go that is astonishing. He is very young. Let's give credit to this little individual for being so smart and aware. Be thankful, not annoyed.

Because he is two years old - 24 months and he might still need a little help. I think it's great that at two he is potty trained. Give him some credit.

Congratulate your wife for me!

first off congradulations on haveing a little boy who at two wants to go to the bathroom second at that age you shouldnt leave them unattened. expecially in a bathroom. i have two sons ages 2 & 3 who struggle with pee time. it is a very scarey and exciting time for them who wouldnt want to share that experience with their mommy or daddy Not only that it would be a good idea for you to help your little guy with bathroom trips . it is a major development and in stead of dwelling on why enjoy these moments. soon enough they will go on their own.

Thats really common since she was the one who trained him hes still feeling a little unsure and is asking for assistance if only to just stand near by. It will pass all too soon and before you know it he wont need either of you for a great many things.

Uhh cause he's only 2 and his mom is probably always asking him if he needs to go to the bathroom so he thinks he has to tell her even when she doesn't ask. He'll eventually figure it out that he doesn't have to tell anyone. The better question is why does it bother you so much?

Because MOM's do everything, she probably helped him get to that point and he is comfortable with her, what's the big deal at least he is going, in the potty,
You should be impressed not discouraged with him !

Maybe he's trying to tell you that he wants you to watch and see if he goes to the potty. That is to let you know that they are ready to go.

maybe he is proud of himself and likes to share it with her. he likes to share it with people. and the more your wife and you encourage him the more he will do it alone. make sure he can reach the toliet by him self too. unless he has his own potty chair.
