Their is long history about religion in India. Christianity was introduced in India when the British East India Co. was founded in 1600. The British were called Raj in india at this time. But the Indian Sikhs holy book is called the Adi Granth. But before the Adi Granth, the old gurus would be the only teachers of the religion. In history their is only 10 gurus, their cant be any more so the Adi Granth is the official teacher of the religion.

The Vedas and the Upinshads are the two older sets while the Bhagavad Gita is a more recent holy book. These three are probably the three holiest though there are many other books.
