This could be an allergy, or a blocked tear duct. I don't know how long your son has been using his medication, but he should continue. It might take several days for the medication to work completely. There are also infections that might cause redness. You can purchase eye drops at Walmart or any drug store. Some are specifically for allergies, some are natural tears for eye dryness. Good luck in helping him.

i was like that a year ago but i really didnt do anything i just got the eye drops for redness and irritation reliefs and then after like a few days i got better and now my eyes r perfectly fine

Could be allergies. Visine Pure Tears is really great for dryness or itching.
