I am a young Black woman and I live in Wisconsin which is very segregated. But whenever I'm at work (I'm the only Black woman in my dept) and when I'm out with my friends, more white men approach me than Black. Its not a big deal cuz I'm an equal opportunity lover...but I'm curious. Do they really like me or are they just curious to be with a Black chick?

being that you live in a more segregated area, it makes guys more curious. its probably a mix of both. they probably find you very attractive and are somewhat curious of if its different to be with a black women. its up to your judgement whether you think they are real or not. just dont trust them to quick. or any guy for that reason lol. good luck

A lot of people are attracted to what is "exotic" in their eyes. If you are the only Black woman in your department, then you will appear very exotic to them. My friend is the only Indian person in her entire office building and you wouldn't believe the attention she gets!
Of course, the REAL reason is probably because you're gorgeous :-)

It could be that you are just a great person that these men are just attracted to. Can't really answer that one cause people in different States act in different ways.

For me, personally, I think Black girls are the prettiest girls on the planet. Maybe these white boys are showing really good taste!
