my boyfriend broke up with me about a week and a half ago. He said that i was too flirtatious around other guys. What the heck? Would u get jealous just because your girlfriend hugs other guys?

What kind of "hugs"?
I think a lot of guys would get jealous. But a lot of guys are stupid too. Not that women aren't.
A lot of girls would be the same.
We live in a world that represses friendliness.
Maybe he did you a favour by leaving. One day you'll find a guy who doesn't mind that you hug other guys because he sees you happy, and he is happy because you are happy.
You just have to deal with it a bit. A lot of us are a bit insecure.

Perhaps it's not your hugs for the other guys he was upset with.
If you have left him alone and spent a lot of time with other guys and gals at a party or at some other place, then perhaps he felt that you were just using him as an escort to the party and you were not really interested in him.
Perhaps if you had given only quick hugs to other guys but made sure that your boyfriend never felt abandoned by you, then he would still be your boyfriend now.

If he can't handle your wonderful, fun, outgoing, sparkling personality - then he is nuts and not worth your time. You need a guy that understands who you are and knows to trust you. Yo are an incredibly special, loving girl - find the right guy and don't lose that flirtatiousness!

If all you did was hug and talk to the other guys, I think he overreacted. However, you may have donr something you didn't realize that he may have thought was over the line. Sounds to me like he was looking for an excuse to break up with you, and he fabricated one. Hope you find a better guy next time. Good Luck!
