Where is the chapter and verse that says God condemned Solomon for having so many wives and concubines?

I don't care whether his wives and kids squabbled after he was dead. I don't care if Israel went to ruin after he was dead. I want to see if you have something on Solomon while he was alive.

Or is all this complaining just sour grapes that God allowed Solomon to have so many wives and concubines, -and- made him rich to boot? Are you whining about how God blessed this man? Are you finding fault with God?

II Chronicles 9:22-23
And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
And all the kings of earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.

God was mad at Solomon of for looking towards other gods

Kings 11:9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

10 And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

11 Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

There is no biblical refrence to your quesiton of concubines.

first off Moses said the king was NOT supposed to multiply wives or horses... AND the king was supposed to in his own hand write out the Torah... and did SOloman obey that????? Nooooooooooooooo

God told Soloman that he appeared to Soloman three times and implying that because of Soloman should have been more accountable and yet Soloman turned his heart away and married many wives and had many horses.... all things moses warned the future King of Israel not to do

God told a prophet to meet Soloman and take off his cloak and tear it in half... and say... because you had a divided heart you will leave a divided kingdom

rrrrrrrrrrriii Z iiiiipppppppppppp !!!!

and in the days of his son Rehoboam, the kingdom was divided over taxes... solomon's son keeping Judah and the head guy over the temple of soloman project, the VP contractor for the worship center got the other half

CONCLUSION

Soloman was the smartest greatest king man ... and yet... he left the kingdom torn the kingdom of heaven can not rest on even the best of the best of mere men but the kingdom can rest on eone and only one person

THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE UPON HIS SHOULDERS
Is 9:6
Jesus Christ
the greater than Soloman

Solomon was not supposed to take wifes of other religions, who turned him away from the LIVING GOD. God did not like this at all.
Gods original plan was to take one wife as in Genesis records.
Solomon was to be an example. So God was angry at him having wife(s) and that from pagan religions.

Neh 13:25 And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, [saying], Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

Neh 13:26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.

Neh 13:27 Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?
the LIVING GOD. God did not like this at all.

1 Kings 11
1But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites:

2Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

3And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

4For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.

5For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

6And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.

7Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

8And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

9And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

10And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.

11Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
