I was thinking veggies, and I know they say to think green. Spinach is one of the best sources, but you might hold off on that one for a few weeks! Asparagus and broccoli are great!
BUT, I also found this page that was pretty good for both meat and veggies

Actually no, vegetables have little to no iron, that is why many vegans are anemic. Meats have iron in them or you could just take an iron supplement.
