I want my hair to be smooth and soft and NOT TANGLED, but i don't know how. Now, i'm using Herbal Essences none of your frizziness, but it has not helped. Does anybody know a shampoo that smells good, gets frid of frizz, makes hair shiny and smooth, not puffy, and safe to use everyday for damaged hair? by the way, my hair is pretty damaged (colored it, highlighted it, permed it, straightened it, etc.) I know this is a lot to ask, but i'm DESPERATE! please, if you have an answer, did the shampoo work well? Also, I can't go to a salon to get treatments or anything.

First thing first...NO more chemicals!! You have completely drained the hair of protein and moisture. Since you can't go to a salon make your way to Sally's beauty supply. I can't see or feel your hair so ask a worker for a deep conditioner high in protein. Shampoo your hair, towel dry and add a generous portion of conditioner to your hair. Wrap with saran wrap and then put hot towel over that. Let stand until towel cools and repeat. Give your hair this treatment at least 3 times a week. Once you have damaged your hair it is a long process to repair it but this will work! Also pick up shampoo at Sally's...no more Herbal Essence.
This product contains alot of wax and causes build up on the hair and therefor causing tangles. There is a product, salon only sells it,called moisture block...amazing on frizzy hair. It's about $21 but will last you a very long time.
Good luck!

Honey, read carefully what the king of hair has to advice. 1) Use a deep conditioner one or twice a week, leave it on for about 30 minutes and rinse with cool water, never hot. 2) Stay off the flat iron and use a diffuser with your blow dryer. 3) After about a month of this routine you will begin to enjoy healthy hair again, but never colour it any sooner than six weeks each time. Bleach is the killer of your hair, so stay away from bleached highlights unless your stylist is the bomb (like moi). Bleach processes very fast and a jr. stylist will ruin your hair. Above all, thank God for your life and the chance of receiving advice from someone as gifted and hot such as myself. By the way, use only salon quality products on your hair such as Tony&guy, Wella, Aveda, and Nexus. Do not even consider retail-store brands such as ???essences.
Love you lots,
Mr. M on damaged hair.
