Is there any way to get into contact with ppl on Match.com w/o a paying account?

I am sick of getting e-mails on there and not knowing who they are from, or being able to read them. I want to switch to another sight if it's not possible.

I have already tried covertly putting my AIM screen name on there, and it rejects it.

My friends used to put their e-mail in there profile or there myspace name so that they could be contacted.
