Many "christians" say that God (Jesus Christ)loves everybody. But the Bible does not support that statement! Psalms 11:5 states, "The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth." We also read in Psalms 5:5, "The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity."
There may be some that are saying that I am using just the Old Testament but look what God says in Romans 9:13, "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." And this was before Jacob and Esau were even born (Romans 9:11). I know that there are no contradictions in the Bible.

God loves people more than what they say.

He does have a problem, though with things that hurt people. When people choose to affiliate themselves with those hurtful things, they can look forward to being in the way of trouble.

These are used as illustrations for us to learn what sin is and that God doesn't love sin. God knows us and what we will become and how we act before He makes us.He is in control so yes, He hated Esau's ways. You have to read the whole chapter and sometimes several chapters to get the true meaning of a certain verse. Taking verses out of context will never prove a point for or against God! God loves everyone but hates the sin.He gives us choice and when we sin it is against God. So He hates sin. Best wishes!

Love the sinner but hate the sin. I can love someone but hate what they are doing, thus I can say I hate the one that sins. by hating all workers of iniquity is not meant that God does not love the people but only the actions of the people so it can be stated as such as the people are doing the sin, that which God hates. I can love you but hate what you are doing. Eventually you get to be what you do so that is where the hate comes in.

I have to agree, James 4:4 says "Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." But keep in mind that we are told to Love our enemies (see Matthew 5:44). Now your examples are definatly hyperbolies, meant so show emotion and falvor things up a bit. But rest asure, you do not want to be an enemy of God on judgment day.

John 3:16
For God so loves the WORLD,that He gave he's only begotton son, that whoever belives in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

So see..here's proof! And if God only loves Christins, why would he send He's ONLY BEGOTTON son to die for us sinners? Think about it (:
