in this day and age, a girl has no problem asking a boy out. u have nothing to lose maybe he is a shy as u r. go 4 it and if it doesn't work out , well that is one more chapter in ur life. close it and move on to the next chapter. just remember there is someone out there for everyone, u just have to b in the right place at the right time. good luck
