I am in grad school right now, and I am 27. I met a younger undergrad who is only 19. I use to see her as only a friend, but things may be changing. I just want to see what other people think about the 8 year difference.

Those years are HUGE ones....and you know what I mean.
I would honestly "Cool your jets" till she is 21 or older. Your basically dating a 13th grader. think of it that way.

well..you two are at completely different stages in your life. You are in grad school right now, getting ready to start and further you career for the next couple of years, while she is just an undergrad. since its legal, i say to go for it,- for some casual fun but i dont see this working on a long term basis.

The only issue would be what happens when you finish grad school and she still wants to finish her undergrad work.
Otherwise, think about 52 versus 44...not a big deal.
Mathematically,

I see nothing wrong with it. You may run into compatibility issues because of the age difference, but maybe not. Give it a shot.
I'm dating a man 10 years younger and we get along great.
Good luck.

i don't see something incorrect with it. it rather is unlike the two of you're underage - no jailbait, so because it rather is a sturdy element! I went on some dates with a 30-year-previous student at my college whilst i became into approximately 20. We cherished one yet another lots, yet interior the top, it did not paintings out for us. yet there became into not something incorrect with it. interior the top, it surely relies upon on no count in case you adult men have nicely matched personalities. do not do it basically for the intercourse with a youthful lady. interior the 1st place, that would make you a jerk, and interior the 2nd, that has disaster written throughout it. in case you adult men have sufficient in person-friendly, then i might say decide for it.

when I was 19, I dated a 29 year old grad student... all bets are off when you are both in college (and over 17, or is it 18?)

If by any chance she is as mature as you and is ready to have only one man (being you) in her life it may work.Hopefully she doesn't think of you as an older brother.
