Freedom we have had,
To live our own intent,
But in our petty selfishness,
A whole world we have spent.
We smile about our arrogance,
Delight in being dumb,
And in the greedy hands of few,
The masses do succumb,
In the strongest nations,
The people become weak,
And blind themselves to others,
While all around they sneak,
The men of thought are ridiculed,
No longer useful tools,
The masses laughing play and sing,
And place thier faith in fools,
In our mindless hurry,
We do not stop and see,
The warnings earth is giving,
In air on land at sea,
Some laugh at Satan haughtily,
I'm not afraid it's true,
But I have news my foolish friend,
He's not afraid of you,
And stiff-necked proud ye hypocrites,
Looking to Judgement Day,
God looks past the few you save,
To those you turned away,
Our eyes we must now open,
Our ears so we may hear,
Or we will learn only too late,
The Lord is one to fear.
