Starting dating this lovely sweet girl about 6 weeks ago,things WERE getting serious but now i need help cause i don't know what to do....The problem is she has a photograph of this man next to her bed,at first in didn't bother me,but over time it start to worry me.So i asked her if it was an ex-husband or a boyfriend,she laughed at me and said NO,what a relief that was....but i was still curious so asked her if it was her brother or father she said it wasn't.In the end i asked her straight,Who is it then? she replied that it was her before the surgery!!!!!What do i do now?????

She is obviously dodging your question.You deserve to know if she is dating YOU exclusively...if you are not then technically she doesn't have to tell you.If you are not exclusive then that could be another man she is dating as well as she doesn't want to hurt your ego by telling you,which in theory is nice because she thinks she is sparing your feelings,little does she know she is driving you insane.If you are exclusive(just you and her) then you need to ask her again and tell her your real feelings.Tell her that you wonder who that man is and you NEED to know what role he plays in her life.If you are exclusive then she needs to put the picture away.If she tries telling you it is just a guy friend or an old love then take heed:Old loves to to be tucked away in the appropriate place and that is NOT her nightstand top....;) Guy friends do not need their photos displayed on the nightstand they can be put where all her friends photos are.If you tell her that it makes you uncomfortable and ask her to remove it and she won't or throws a fit about YOU being insecure,then run away FAST! She may still attached and just using you for fun.Hope it works out well for you ;)

wow..... Take time to look into yourself to see what your true feelings are.... and if you are able to stay in a relationship in which she was not honest with you upfront... I am guessing it was because she was afraid of your reaction and would not want to get to know her.... but now that you have started to get to know her... I am guessing you like this person.... just because her outside looks different than before the inside is the same person that you started a relationship with... take your time... good luck

Was she joking? or was she serious?
Find that out for sure before you freak out. (okay okay, I realize you have already freaked out...but before it gets worse...)
If she was joking, tell her that wasn't funny and ask for REAL who is it? and if she's NOT joking....
well, what you do then is up to you... either dump her/him or if you are okay with it...stay.
