I don't watch it either. I can't stomach the news any more. You see these well made up faces smiling at you telling you about the latest murder, bomb or rape. The only cheerful news is the stuff that comes from the weather man!!! It's a shame that all people have to "report" about is the most discusting stuff they can find all of time!!!

I have quit for periods of time. Right now I am into it big time, I have to watch it every night. It is really very good to stay informed about what is happening but I find the war stuff and political fighting so very negative. It is awful that so many people are getting killed everyday. Many people would sleep better at night if they just stopped watching television all together.
