I don't think it's my faiths business what I do or don't do for hours with my spouse. I would have to say no, it is not frowned upon as long as you are married. Why shouldn't you enjoy eachother? It's part of the reason you got married anyway.

If both people in the marriage want to do that then my Christian faith commands it!

As a Christian, I believe that sex is a blessing from God, inteded to be between a husband and wife, and as far as how long my wife and I are making love don't matter.
