They just don't see it from that perspective...the Catholics and so-called traditionalist Anglicans (there is nothing traditional about them) have declared war on gay people for example and just never let up on the vilification and defamation...some of these anti-gay Christians are almost psychotic in their obsession with gays...I don't get it, it's supposedly not in the spirit of Christ to hound and harrass others. But it's a bit rich when Christians whine about being persecuted....they don't know they are alive.

i'm a Christian. i don't like to whinge, nor do I whinge that i'm persecuted. i don't persecute others. i don't think of that i'm abused. I detect that some everybody is offended via my faith, yet it is excellent. i will locate maximum countries in an atlas, besides as many bodies of water and issues like mountain stages, deserts, and so on. I easily have in no way persecuted a Muslim, Jew, black guy or woman, pagan, homosexuals, or anybody else. call one or 2 Christians who persecute, why do not you, instead of accusing everybody as a collection and thereby eroding your individual credibility via succumbing to that of which you're complaining here.

...How are Christians persecuting others? By pointing out their errors and lawlessness? Disagreeing with other lifestyles is not hate - some need to grow up and act like adults. Poor, poor things...oh, well, it ain't a perfect world, and it doesn't revolve around anyone or any group, including mine.
...When have you ever know persecution, real persecution? Real persecution is happening in the Middle East - people are beheaded by Islamic terrorists, and slaves are being bought and sold in the Sudan - that is persecution!
...How does perversion help our society? The average life span for gay males is 41 years, according the Centers for Disease Control - how is this beneficial? The heterosexual life span is considerably longer.
...How does breaking our immigration laws help our society? Nowhere else in this world do illegal immigrants demand their so-called rights - and there are many here who came in legally and became citizens legally, and they are to be congratulated.
...We are free to worship as we choose, and I accept that faiths exist, but I don't have to celebrate these faiths, and I will not.
...Since we enjoy free speech here, I will speak freely.

You're asking why hypocrites act like hypocrites? X-ians just need to actually read that book they keep shoving in everyone's face (especially that judge not lest ye be judged part) Hell, their "god" Jesus hung out with whores and theives, and if he could have found any gays , muslims or mexicans he probably would have been their best friend--but he was on foot, and it was a long walk. Of course you can't confuse a X-ain with facts-their brains have just been washed and they can't do a thing with them. I say we kill them all--and see how many of them end up in hell

Christians, are you talking about 2 billiard people at once? First of all you can't speak for all of them, for not all of them are the same. Second, Christians do not prosecute those who you mentioned, God does, christians just bringing you the message. Every one is a sinner, so everyone deserves to go to hell. The only way to get saved is through Jesus Christ. In order to step on this path three moves must be made. One, is to recognize that you are a sinner who needs forgivness. Two, accept by faith that Jesus paid with His blood for you. Three, ask God for forgiveness in Jesus name.
And for those "open minded Christians-gay activists" who say homosexuality is normal and is ok with God. You opened your mind to whatever but not to what God tells you.
Recognizing right from wrong is not judging.

Please understand this, in my faith there are three stages. 1) The immature, running on the basics. 2) The mature, who have a more spiritual understanding. And 3) the perfected, which only comes in Heaven. It all depends on if your talking to the mature or immature, which you can tell by their answers. Try talking to the mature and you'll see (hear) the difference.

That's a good question, I'm an open and verbal Gay rights activist, have many Muslim friends and many who are illegals in this country, AND I'm a straight, married CHRISTIAN! Go Figure, but I'm not judging. So I have no idea why others do it.

The ol' martyr complex. If they say they are persecuted, they feel more christ-like. Yup, lots of them are up on an imaginary cross.
They can get down now. It's not fooling anyone.

Not sure if you are asking a question or making a statement. I want to say this no one has the power to judge anyone at any time because according to Him we have all fallen short of the glory and no one is exempt from Him. It seems to me that you have a bit of that judgementitis going on as well

FYI my friend. More Christians are being killed for their faith today than at any other time in history.
Heard about Darfur? Genocide. Muslims killing Christians.

Dorothy Stang, murdered for fighting for the little guy.

Sister Leonila? Shot for helping the poor.

Shall I continue?
