What qualities would a guy have to have for a girl to overlook what he looks like?

It's unfortunate, but some of the best qualities, and the ones that can be the most endearing, are the ones that you have to get to know a guy before you can discover them. Too many gals (and guys) are attracted to the superficial aspect -- they want someone who looks like a movie star. But looks fade, and what lasts is a kind, caring and loving nature, a good sense of humor, a sense of honor and of fitness, and concern for others, a gentleness --- if a guy has these, he can look like Godzilla and still be a wonderful partner, husband and father. If he doesn't have them, it doesn't matter much what he looks like. You won't have a great life with him.
Here's another conundrum. Many of the really great guys are a little shy, and you have to work at getting to know them. But it's sure worth it.

Guys who are cute are always nice; but you know what? Some day we are all going to lose our looks when we are old and gray. If we go after just the outside, we could be missing a real gem. Having said that, MY answer to your question is this: strong Christian beliefs, honest, good hygiene, kind hearted, caring, protective, patient, easy going (slow to get angry and upset with people), good sense of humor.

Well first of all most girls should know not to base something on looks alone. after all, there are a lot of hotties out there that are total a**holes. But in general, girls look for someone who is funny, kind/caring, smart, passionate, polite, and mature. Hope this helps you lots!

You have to be sweet and nice and loving! Don't be looking at girls just to stare at them and to appreciate them like you would want to.

An awesome personality,humorous,very caring,he has to respect me, and is thoughtful.He also has to take care of himself and not be a dirty slob.

KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER SOMEONE...NOT TALKING ABOUT MATERIAL THINGS BUT AS FAR AS YOUR GOOD TRAITS, WHAT MAKE YOU-YOU. ALWAYS BE YOURSELF, EVEN IF YOU THINK HE/SHE WON'T EXCEPT YOU..THAT ONLY MEANS THEY AREN'T THE ONE FOR YOU.
