ごめんなさい。日本語が下手です。 [ gomen nasai. nihongo ga heta desu.]

Literally: I've very sorry. I am unskilled at Japanese.

"sui masen, atashi nihongo heta nande..."

If you are male, change the word "atashi" ( ="I" ) to "boku".

This is very "alive" and not textbookish.
I use it very often and no Japanese believes that I cannot speak this language fluently!
