How can people still be okay with this?

Okay, ONLY comment if you watch these videos (if you comment quickly I will know you haven't and your answer will be useless to me).

Now, for someone who understands the process of abortion (the childs limbs getting ripped off one by one as they scream in agony) how can you justify being okay with abortion? After seeing the reality of it and knowing the pain and suffering of the child, HOW are you okay with it? PLEASE serious answers, I would really like to know.

It's reality. It's legal. Kids can flip on the TV and watch medical procedures. Bottom line anyway, kids should be monitored by their parents, I don't need to monitor for them.

I don't want the opinion of someone who choses to remain ignorant of what it is (by not watching the videos) but still says that the woman has the choice. If you don't watch the videos I know why you are okay with it, you are ignorant and wish to stay ignorant, I only want to hear from someone who KNOWS the horrors of abortion and is still okay with it. DON'T WASTE MY TIME PREACHING TO ME IF YOU ARE IGNORANT ABOUT THE SUBJECT.

"my body, my choice" is not an answer, it's a way to earn two points. If you did as I asked please EXPLAIN how you can still be okay with the violent murder of a child.

no mind about the spelling, I smashed my finger in a metal door a couple days ago and my typing has been horrible since. I would suggest you watch the videos (after you give birth, that is). I have always been against abortion, at some level, but it was not until watching these videos that I learned the truth of it. I had no idea they so brutally murdered these young children, and I also didn't realize how human these children are. They are just like you and me, just smaller and in the womb. They feel, they do eveything we do. I cried when I saw these. I tried to talk to my own mother about it, because she is okay with abortion, and she refused to watch the vidoes or talk to me about it. I want to really know how anyone after watching these can be okay with any abortion. It's so heartbreaking, I see my own daughter and wonder how anyone could chose to murder thier child. I figure it just must be ingnorance of what is actually happening and what a "fetus" or small person is.

Oh, about the illegal abortions, when abortion was illegal, there were, maybe, in the thousands of them preformed, now, their are millions performed. How many more murders of born humans do you think we'd see if it were legal to kill people? Just because people will do something illegal, doesn't mean we should legalize it to make it easier and so that more people will do it.

That is the most horrible video I have ever seen. I don't understand why people would kill there children no matter what the reason. If you really can not or do not want to raise a child, give him/her up for adoption. Anything is better than ripping a child's life from them when they have bearly begun to live. If anyone still thinks abortion is ok after wathching those videos they are sick.

I am kind of on the fence with this. I will not watch the videos, because I am 14 weeks pregnant and will most likely vomit.
I don't think I could ever have an abortion, nor do I know anyone close to me whom has. I did say, just yesterday, that if you were rape or molested taht it should be o.k., but after having a debate with my husband last night, who is 100% against abortion, I can say that I might ba changing my mind. With the morning after pills, I think if you get raped or molested you should have the right to take those. I am not going to go and stand out in front of a clinic to try to get people to change their minds. I think before we can do anything about this, we have to get the parents of all these teenagers involved with their kids lifes. My sister got pregnant when she was 17, why? Because my mom let her. What do you expect from a women that lets her teenage daughters boyfreind move in with her? I thank God everyday that I somehow have a good head on my shoulders and waited until I was with the man that I am married to before I got pregnant.
Our nation will never totally agree on this. So I don't really have a solution to this problem, and maybe when someone comes up with a logiocal solution we can finally settle this issue.
But in the mean time there is always adotion. And as long as abortion is an option, than people will take advantage of it. And as soon as it is outlawed, we will have many young women dieing of infections, because of backdoor abortion clinics.

This was so sad. I've seen things like this before on the net but it never stops hurting. I'm totally against abortion NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON. Those poor lil defenseless babies,They have a heart beat and move about just as we do. SHAME on those who don't give them a chance to grow up. You can say it's your choice and that it's your body, but you know what I want YOU to think bout this When u go to get an abortion- YOUR baby screaming saying MOMMY WHY ARE YOU KILLING ME. WHAT DID I DO WRONG. That baby that you are killing would have been the best thing that happened to you and shame on you if you're thinking of your self in this matter. And even if somthing may be wrong with the baby, she/he still has the right to live. And if you can't take care of the baby then put him/her up for adoption. At least then they will have a chance to live. Alot of the ones getting abortions just don't want to have a baby and shame on you for not being careful,the baby should not have to die for your mishaps. YOU know what think of your child being a month old or just a couple weeks old. Now imagine someone trying to kill them in the most horrible way....... now their is no difference to whats happening now and what has happened to that baby in the womb except u can't hear the baby in the womb but everything else is the same! People who agree to abortions I hope wake up and realize that THEY are really killing THEIR baby. It's MURDER no matter how you look at it.

I guess people stand it because they say it is still not a human but personally I disagree! How can something so great as the miracle of a baby be killed by just the simplicity of scientific scissors.(no offense to science) There is absolutely no reason for killing a baby! If teens say that they want to enjoy sex and not suffer the consequences well than that is why condoms exist so in my opinion abortion should be made illegal!!!!

what if teens did "do it" and want to abort. i am sure they will have a way of aborting even if it is illegal. Just like marijuana. It is illegal yet people still do it!


So i guess we have to think about it both ways.

I have seen those before.... I do not think abortion is acceptable EXCEPT in cases that either the baby or the mother would be harmed in the process (or if the child has some kind of horrible disease or deformity that could cause death anyway). I absolutley DO NOT think it is an appropriate form of birth control. It makes me mad when people continue to have irresponsible unprotected sex and then say "Oh, I will just abort it". It makes me just as mad when a 14 year old (who shouldn't have been having sex in the first place) didn't use a condom and doesn't want to tell her parents. If you are old enough to put things up there, you are old enough to deal with what comes out. Anyway, just my opinion. That being said, please don't post that kind of media, it is very upsetting and some of us have little kids running around.

I've seen the videos before. There is nothing anyone here could say to change your mind or make you understand a pro-choice point of view. That is the problem with the abortion issue and many other controversial issues like this, each side thinks that "if the other people could only see what went on they would understand".Just like Christians who think they need to minister to others, "if others could only hear The Truth they'd see the light"

Not all of us see the same Truth, it's just that simple. I'm ok with you being vehemently against abortion as long as it doesn't interfere with me, my patients or my daughter's rights to have one.

I will not watch videos of an abortion. You don't need to to know if you're okay with it or not. I personally am not okay with abortion; however, I also feel that there may be a time when it's need. (ie, sick baby, not having one may kill the mother, the mother was raped, etc.) I believe in the mother's right to choose even if I would choose not to!

Okay, you can use this forum to spout your "right to life" issues. That is your right. It is also the right of every woman to choose an abortion in the USA in the year 2006. What are you doing for the babies born addicted to crack? What are you doing for the children born with terrible disabilities and HIV? Who do you think you are to dare to question a woman that I am sure thought long and hard about this decision before taking any kind of action? For some people it isn't right. For some people it is the only decision that they can live with. And you have no right to judge them. That right, my dear, is God's alone. Why do you feel it necessary to confront people with those horrible videos? Are you one of those horrible people that stand on busy street corners as school buses full of children go by with huge, color pictures of aborted children? They did that in my community and I was outraged as school buses full of elementary students drove by...

Carry your signs, speak your piece....help all the children left lonely and unloved in group homes and detention centers and on the streets of our cities....and when they are all happy and healthy then you can talk to me about the children that aren't brought into this world to be abused, forgotten, neglected and murdered.
