I was a fan of his for years and yes I bawled like a baby when I found out he died. It was strange to be so upset over the death of someone I had never met but the truth is the world lost a great man who helped a lot of animals. He was one in a million and there need to be more people like him.

Sad, yes. Surprised, no. The way he manhandled dangerous animals, I thought it was just a matter of time. Odd that it happened with a stingray, however. I'm very sorry for his sweet wife and dear children.

Well I felt sorry for the poor guy, I grew up with his stunt on Animal Planet. You kinda get attached to a guy that way. But then all these people started to feel sorry for him, people that didn't even watched his TV shows... It's just plain annoyng that they should feel sad.

Of course, he was an honorable man who got up every morning and went to work doing something he loved! He also had a wonderful family, so of course it's sad.

He was a passionate man who cared a lot about what he did, and did a great deal of good for conservationism and protecting wildlife. I am sad to see him go.

Absolutely. He was passionate about everything in his life and he really inspired others to get involved in animal conservation.

But isn't it sad when anyone dies?

Yes, it's always sad when there are children deprived of their loving father. He has done a lot of good and I will miss that.

I was very sad when I watched it on the news. I alomst cried. He was so funny and his episodes were wicked sick. It really made my day (i heard about it on September 5, the day before the first day of school). It was really depressing and he was about my daddies age.
