Not eating enough is just as detrimental as eating too much!!!! If you starve yourself, then anything you do eat is going to be "used up" before your body has a chance to burn the calories to digest it. Your body will grab on to any fat you eat first. It will hold on to that fat and store it in preparation to be starved again. Its better to eat well balanced meals and snacks through out the day. It is hard to do, but stay away from sugar!! You will get plenty of healthy sugar naturally in fresh fruits. Also, stay away from caffeine.(again, hard to do.) If you are a Carbonation Fiend, then drink Diet Rite. It has no caffeine, sugar, sodium, or calories. It's like water with the fizz! Be sure to drink a lot of water to keep your system "flushed" and hydrated. Please do not starve yourself.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Yes indeed, too much in fact!
I always advised my students that one of the best diets was to eat things that you liked but just to eat less of each one. I now include advise to stay away from fast foods, to many fats, (you do need fat in your diet to stay healthy) too much salt, but again you do need some salt to stay healthy. Avoid to many sugars, especially soda, candy, and high fructose, which unfortunately is hard to do since manufacturers have found it to be cheaper than regular sugar and so are putting it in more products.
But don't go on a starvation diet, it's unhealthy and you will end up looking like the starving children you see on TV. Which is not only unattractive, but unhealthy

You can eat but you must burn off those calories and then some. I'm currently on a diet and I eat and I exercise. I've lost six pounds this week. Just eat and exercise
