A lot of older South Indian women seem to have balding along the center part in the hair. Why is this?

Is there anything that can be done to prevent it? Is there any way to tell if this will happen to you?

Also, it seems more prevalent in South Indian women than any other nationality (please correct me if I am mistaken).

hormone imbalance,improper diet and not keeping the scalp clean south Indian women tend to not wash their hair very often this can clog hair folicles leading to loss.

might be due to climatic condition and the diet we south Indian take consist more of rice than vegetable & curry which causes nutritional imbalance.

i am an indian and this is a situation that runs in my family. i think that it is in their DNA. this can also be a effect of not washing their hair. you can go to some sites to find the actual answer. this is just my opnion. (my belief)

I spent 5 years in Manipal,did not notice this.May be this is something new.If any of your relatives have this problem,consult a doctor.

hi i'm south indian
it's jus something that comes caz
we mostly do our hair like that
by separating the hair in half on one side half on the other
so it makes a mark

because thy arnt geting enughf sunlight use a dayglow bulb in winter if this hppens to and you shuld be ok
