"I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam...Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet" (History of the Church, vol. 6, p.408-409).

It sure sounds like one big whopper of an insult to me!!

What an egotistical oaf! First of all he stole his religion from the Masons, then added on to it. Paul, John and Peter established churches that lasted their lifetimes and Jesus' church is alive and well today 2,000 years later while LDS's are leaving and starting new churches!

A christian should understand that the heart of man is full of wickedness and his tongue offends, knowing that then Why would the statement you gave above surprise you. It also then is not news. I could go to many churches who are in error and find things to impeach the witness.

I assume your pointing this out is an attack, on the followers of the LS group. Attack does not work with people who are practicing what they believe, and it only stirrs up, people to think wicked thoughts of others. Might be better to insigate love, or correction and accountablity among your own group.

Any, so called , church that denys who Christ is, is indeed an insult. If it were truely God's church, this man could never take credit for anything. Mormonism is truely a cult.

We are worth a Son to God.

Wow, if that is verbatim................

I find it hard to believe that Chritianity rejects his beliefs and followers. (EXTREME SARCASM)

Remember also to a Mormon to criticize Jesus is no different than insulting Moses or the disciples. To them, Jesus is just a prophet and open to be criticized and not LORD. Mormons deny the deity of Christ and his blood atonement.

Talk about an ego out of control!! You have to excuse a deranged man who has difficulty seperating delusion from reality.
