there are three reasons why i don't celebrate christmas.
1. i'm against christianity.
2. i'm against commercialism.
3. i'm against tradition.
so, for me to celebrate brightsday would be for me to break my 2nd and 3rd rules. --- still though,,, i know lots of atheists who celebrate christmas, and so i'm sure they will be interested to hear about this secuday.

I'll be celebrating Yule actually being that I'm Asatru. But it looks like a good idea, although if you think about it Christmas has already become pretty secular. C'mon, what do Christmas trees and Santa Claus have to do with Jesus? Those things were taken from older Pagan traditions (such as the Norse).
However, to anyone who does choose to celebrate it, I wish them a good one :)

No thank you. I am not interested in promoting secularism. It has already taken over the USA. I like to promote Christianity.

I think I'll celebrate winter solstice instead, brightsday doesn't sound that bad but it still promotes commercialism which is even eviler than christianity.
