No. There is special hardware needed that can burn a DVD disc properly. CD burners burn CDs - DVD burners can burn both (99% of the time anyway)

Like the others have said, it's not possible. However, some programs can use the CD drive to burn a "video CD", which is like a DVD except you don't need a DVD drive. The quality, however, is lesser.

No, you can't. DVDs get burnt with a different, more advanced laser than cds. DVD burners come with both lasers, but a cd burner only has the cd-kind.
