someone once told me to use seven dust (that you would put on your vegetable plants) on the dogs and it worked for a few days, but I didn't like the way they smelled. Go to a farming supply or orchard supply store. You can get the advantage or frontline for pretty cheap there. I treat 4 small dogs for less than $10 total. Also, you can get stuff at Home Depot like diazenon that will kill the fleas in the yard. Hope that helps.

We spray our yard with Seven or something like that. Its available at Lowe's and other places I'm sure. As for the fleas on the dogs wash them in flea and tick shampoo or something of the sort and use the drops or flea collars.

use your own shampoo not flea shampoo, wash rinse and repeat. get a sprayer attachment for your hose and use the shampoo in it on the lawn too. only use a 1/2 cup of shampoo for a regular sized city yard. Do this at dusk, not dawn, so the shampoo has time to work.
