tbh i think it's not good to be friend's with someone who does that. whatever he's reasons are, its not helping you and obviously is gunna get you down. I suggest you talk to him, or next time he does it ask why he thinks/said that.

That is probably the reason that he doesn't have any more friends. Explain that to him .
