What does "The education of the will is the object of our existence"
mean?

That particular fortune is too convoluted and ephemeral to be of any substantial value.

It means that molding one's willpower is the purpose of life, but it is not stated in an understandable way.

A few weeks ago I got one that said, "The book should be a ball of light in one's hand."

To me that fortune was astounding. (I have been writing a novel for the past year and my mouth fell open when I received it.)

Ignore anyone who says such things are not valid. Not always, but occasionally they are.

Your will is your ability to master or to control yourself. It's saying the meaning of life is to learn to handle yourself well.

I think it's nonsense - how can you educate your will?
