No... Root Beer is made from sassafras root not from the Kola nut... and its only Kola nut extract taken in huge doses that can kill you, not the stuff in soda pop.

do the people at coke know about this?

there is no cola in root beer, or any other soft drinks - except for COLA flavored soft drinks.

and i'm pretty sure that it's not too deadly.
