I'm mature for my age and skipped a grade so as a result im in grade 10. My crush who also likes me is 18 and is in grade 12 because he is foreign. Is that a huge age gap if i wanted to go out with him?

There is no way sex would be involved untilit's legal and I'm ready. 15 is too young with somebody m,y age or without so don't even factor that in.

I checked the laws like you guys suggested. I went to my school and looked it up there in PDR class. It's legal. Apparently in my country ithe legal age for any consent is 14.

No,not at all,I'm 16 and have a boyfriend that is 19,thats pretty much the same thing.Age is nothing but a # ! Just try not to have sex with him and if you can't wait make sure other people don't find out or he could go to jail for a stupid thing called "statutory rape",the law sucks, but I think 15 is too young to have sex anyway,I have'nt yet I'm still a virgin. There are many states (not mine but...)where you can have sex at 16 and he won't get into trouble, why don't you look up the age of consent for your state.Follow your heart and see where it takes you, could end up good or bad,but no thats not a huge gap.

One thing I've noticed in my everyday observations is that anyone who says "I am mature for my age" usually isn't.

When I was in high school, the senior boys went out with the freshman girls. If you weren't part of that group, then you were a nobody. No that's not a huge age gap, but it's also not the healthiest either. From what I understand of the law, him going out with you could be considered statutory rape, even if both of you consent. Girls have crushes on guys of any age everyday, sometimes old enough to be their father. There's no reason you can't hang out and get to know each other. You won't go to jail for that. But if you start getting intimate while you are still a minor, that's asking for trouble.

hellllooooo, is there more idiots in this section than there are smart people. look girl this guy u like is 18 rite, and u r 15 rite, age does matter until u hit 18, then u can do whatever the hell u want, u can even date some old dude with old rinkled rustied up balls that sagg to the floor if u wanted too. but a 15 dating some kid who is 18 and about to graduate no.

Sweety... you need to understand a few things about boys... at 18 they are really looking to start sleeping with women.. and honey I don't know what your history is but you need to look at this link for a bit... Its about teens and sex.

Now about the age difference... yes he is at a different place than you. he is finishing school you are just in high school. He will be on his own soon and you are still with your folks. You should be giggling going to sleep overs, football games, hanging out with friends.. he will soon be either in college or working.. its just really different.

but again the biggest difference is the attitude towards dating.. at 18 there is more (for better or worse) and emphasis on a sexual relaitnoship than at 15 (god I still hope this is true - I'm only 22 but damn... things can't have changed THAT much!)

so.. find a boy your own age and have fun learning about them!! you may have jumped a grade or two because you are smart.. but men... you can never learn enough and its important to learn all the basics first!

I don't think the age is an issue here, the important thing is that you are both physically old enough to have sex. I believe it's never too young to start thinking about a family, so you and he should indulge in unprotected sex as often as possible. Think of the head start you will have on everyone else when you have your first baby at 15!

Hope this helps.

No its perfectly fine, I'm 15 and my ex bf is 19. Things might not of worked out good for me but that's because he was crazy. So as long as hes a good guy and doesn't push you to go far with him your fine.

it's fine as long as you don't have sex. he could get in a lot of trouble b/c he's legal and you're not.
