He stares, tries to make me laugh, and he sat next to me today. We were doing a test and he looks at me and when I look he looks away. The problem is he has a girlfriend though, which I really dont want to ruin so please do not answer, dont ruin the relationship and stuff. So does he like me? What is going on? What should I do? if he has a girl. you need to back off. it sounds like he likes you. but don't go there. you will only get hurt in the end. and be labeled a back stabbing b@@ch. find someone who wouldn't play two girls like that.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

I assume you are in High School which answers alot. He probably does like you, but I have to tell you, most young men between 15-19 like anything that is cute and talks to them. Doesn't matter if he has a girlfriend or not, so don't put too much stock into what he does now. I would say that it is OK to be friendly with him, but until he breaks up with his chick, all you will do is cause problems at school if you pursue him.

I think he is definitly interested. I say just keep doing what you're doing, dont mention his girlfriend or anything. If a guy likes you he will show it, which it seems like he is. He is probably deciding if you are worth dumping his girlfriend for, he doesnt want to take that big of a risk and have things not work out with you. Maybe he is wondering the same thing you are, does she even like me? You should show him you like him in a subtle way, and gauge his response.

He may like his girlfriend, but really likes you too.
Respectable that you don't want to break him up with his current girlfriend.
You could try to flirt with him to see if he plays back.
Or just wait until he is no longer with his girlfriend and move in like a sneaky vulture chick.

Time will give you as well as him the answers you are seeking. If he truly likes you then chances are that he will break up with his girlfriend. you would not be the responsible if they do break up because you cannot control his heart and emotions.

well i think he thinks your cute, but doesnt know how to break up wiht his gf, maybe he wants to know you a lot, then dump her, to be wiht you , but he wouldnt wanna dump his girlfirend if it turned otu he didnt like you all that much.
i would say smile back. . . laugh and grin if he looks at you and looks away when you look back. casually say hi everyday. if he looks at you wierd say hello to every1 around you. . .yeah!!
