I would definately say so, I have just spent ages putting them into my hair.
If you get the extentions that are on the wefts you usually have to glue them in, which lasts me around 3 weeks. I then take them out and do have some malting from where the remaining glue is in my hair. this stops after a day or so, and would never be anymore then if you were thoroughly brushing your hair repeatedly anyway. If you have thick hair this will not be too bad for you. You can also remove the remaining glue with Henna Wax.
The only problem I really see for you is the fact that the extention on the top is quite thick as it has the hair sewn into it, so you would be making your roots even thicker. If you just put some on the bottom section of your hair I am sure it would be fine.
Hope this helps.

As a user of hair extensions, i have tried many different makes. Personally i have found that racoon hair extensions have been the best. They actually have asian hair in stock, so they look more natural. Give them a whirl, also asian hair is a lot cheaper.

I dont think that you would have a problem with extensions, but i have never seen any asians with extensions. The only problem i would see is the texture maybe too straight to hold them in properly but then again the hairweave has evolved a great deal.

might be but you need to be careful if you want the sort that are woven in only go to someone if someone you know recomends them a couple of my friends had them done(not by the same person)and they were in agony from them being so tight and one got scabs all over her scalp they both had to have them out in under a week after paying hundreds to have it done . it costs up to £500 some places in the UK saying that others i know have had them and theirs were fine so just be careful

Hm...maybe hair extentions isin't the solution. Maybe a hair cut, a trim. But extentions are good as long as they look natrual on you.

the ones you glue in are really difficult to wash and brush, and if they're not made of natural human hair then you can't use heated appliances (straighteners/tongs) on them coz it doesn't work and they would melt!
clip in extensions are the best, clip them in under the top layer of your hair so you can't see where they've been clipped in.
