All right, this might sound like a stupid thing, but the guy I like is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo:
1. cute
2. nice
3. polite
4. smart
But, there's one problem: he's three inches shorter than me!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, yeah, I know it may not seem like a lot but my friend thinks it's weird! The guy (let's call him Ben) is my friend, and we hang out A LOT. Do you think this decreases his chance of liking me? I mean, TONS of other girls like him, and some of them are his height, while others are not. Is this an issue? Am worried? I mean, I really like him, so does this mean I shouldn't care? There are still chances he'll grow, also, because we're both still in...erm...our, "growth stage", let's leave it at that. SO? WHAT SHOULD I DO? I THINK HE LIKES ME, BUT THE SHORT THING IS KINDA...WEIRD, AT LEAST ACCORDING TO MY FRIEND! I've heard love should be stronger than anything, so does this also apply to this predicament (big word @_@, LOL)? Guys, what do you think? Girls? (mainly guys)

I'm 5'10, I have three sisters taller than me. I LOVE guys being my same height or shorter but it is up to YOU!!! FORGET what your friend says!! Many people have happy marriages and relationships when the woman is taller than the man. It is considered VERY sexy. Go for it, girl! You like him, may even love him. Tell your girl I said "SHUT IT!!" Repeat often. Tell her there's an amazon in Ohio ready to kick her bu# if she doesn't leave you alone about you and your new man.

I don't think you should worry about it, your friend might just be jealous because she likes him as well. Or maybe she just doesn't understand how much you like him and that height doesn't matter. . Chances are he'll probably grow and be taller than you, guys mature a lot slower than girlsIf you really like him you shouldn't care and the same goes for him. As for the friends thing, I think that increases the chances of him liking you. From my experiences usually when a guy hangs out with a girl a lot as "friends" it's because he likes you. I'm not a guy but I hope that advice is helpful

The size difference does not matter in the slightest. My hubby is 6 foot and he went with girls that were taller than him and it did not annoy the girls or him. It is what you think of each other that matters, not what other people think. Is there maybe a chance these FRIENDS might be jealous because they like him. My dad is smaller than my mum, she can't wear heals any more. But they have been together 37 year (so much for height problems).
Also remember what about Tom Cruise, Nicole was taller, Katie is Taller, Remember what they say GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES and if he is Cute, nice, polite and smart my advise is GO FOR IT GIRL!

Okay height means less than NOTHING. I'm about 6' and the majority of my girlfriends have been shorter than me however some of them have been taller and one or two much taller (models).
The idea is that normally girls are shorter than guys so it starts a stereotype that the girl is suppossed to be shorter but it's trivial and kind of makes the girl subservant to the guy.
It doesn't matter what other people think you choose you who want to give yourself to if you really care about them then nothing else means anything.
Some teenage boys are intimidated by taller girls and others by girls period. You can set him at ease and make him more comfortable by not addressing the issue.

I think your friends are crazy,,and also jealous. Height should not be an issue. My man is shorter than me also.I could care less. Its not about whats on the outside...its how the person treats you. Thats just ridiculous. Would you rather him taller than you and treat you like ****??? cmon now give him a chance....who cares what others think?

No offense but you sound pretty shallow with what you wrote. He'll get taller most likely, depending on his age, anyways. Though that doesn't really matter-you shouldn't care. Your friends are being lame, you might want to rethink how much you're telling them if they're gonna act like that.

The reason why he's all those things desribed by youi s because he has to work twice as hard due to his challenge. A man must be at least 3 inches taller than the woman!

well every girl wants a guy thats taller than her.. its normal.. normally i'd say go find another buy but u really seem like u're into him.. sooooooo.... u can either try to get over the fact without makin it so noticeable and such a big deal.. don't wear high heals around him.. thats the dumbest thing to do..

Good grief. Height doesn't matter. Are you (or your friend) really willing to base a relationship on something as shallow as physical appearances? Please tell me that you're more grown up than that. If your date has all of the positive attributes that you claim, then his height should mean less than nothing to you.
