Check out Mindware.com. Also, go to a teacher's supply store for lots of ideas. My kids are quite smart. The more varied toys, games, puzzles, reading instructions, crafts, science, etc., and the more you participate in their activities early on...say until 8-9yrs of age...the wider their creativity and thinking skills. They love to learn. Reading to your kids and talking and enjoying the stories and charactors or subject matter is also very important to creativity and comprehension, language and vocabulary skills. You'll enjoy a happy and great bond with your little joyful intellectuals.

every toy out there nowadays they make to briten our kids. From elmo to the actual v tech computers the only ones that arent are dolls and the batman fighting type toys for amusment but learning is jsut as fun when your young

children's learning programmes like seseme street. These are really good because it makes the children interested in learning and gives them ways of remembering information in a fun way.

My son learnt the alphabet and how to count by watching these programmes at the age of 15 years old... not really, just a joke!! at 2 he knew how to count and the alphabet and i am certain it was because of the learning programmes.

Your child will learn more from you then a chunk of red plastic shaped like a truck. Try reading with them.
