i'm 20 ok that is my opinion on the concern. If the newborn has the right body of options to inform the version between fantasy and truth and behaves maturely then, yeah i believe a 7 twelve months previous can plat a interest like Halo. i imagine the ESRB score is there so the keep received't promote it to minors that may jeopardize the software agencies that make the video games because in case you truly imagine about it, that's in simple terms no longer about the score, yet extra about if figure thinks there newborn can manage it. So I ask you do you imagine your son can manage a interest about and intergalactic conflict between people and a alien species understand because the Covenant the position there's a actually various killing, some blood, and average swearing(Swearing might want to correctly be arguable be reason I not in any respect pay it that a lot interest)?

From a teacher's point of view, I would say never! But, that is completely unrealistic. In reality, I think that you should wait until they are old enough to understand that what they see and are able to do in video games is entirely fake and should not be attempted in real life. I also think that parents should be very aware of the type of games and amount of time that their children are playing.

My daughter was three when we start to let her play games, it was an L-MAX by Leapster, it has many eductional games, for her fourth birthday she asked for the V-smile because they had one in her daycare center. I recomend either of these games for preschool children, she was having difficulty writing some of her letters but with the L-MAX she seemed to comprehind it better than me trying to show her. She can now write every letter in the alphabet. I wouldnt let them play all day long and hour at the most.

they can start at anytime, as it helps with hand/eye coordination.
just be forwarned, they use computers in school as teaching devices, so any child can use a video game or a computer. reguardless of if you have a computer at home or not,& no matter if you want them to play games or not!

P.S.> My 5 yr old knows more about computers than her father does, & she's only been in school for 3 weeks!

I have a son who just dropped out of his junior year in college (3rd-rated engineering program in the country) after becoming addicted to video games. It's the newest addiction, and it is truly crippling.

Unless it's a learning tool, just say no.
