Since its' fall weather (at least where I'm at!) and everything....I'd go with a warm spread....
Chili warmed and mixed with a package of cream cheese with chips/crackers to dip.
This AMAZING mexican hotchocolate called Abuelitas (yellow package, has a grandma smiling on it)
Sugar cookies made into skull shapes and decorated with buttercream icing. (or have them plain and let your guests decorate!)
Have fun...this is a really cool way to respect the dead and honor their impact on your life.....
