This is a hard decision, You and your partner should discuss this together as the song should reflects the beginning of a new phase in both your lives. Have a quiet night in listen to the songs you prefer then choose.
Good Luck with everything.

I forgot until the day of my wedding-so I am glad to hear you are thinking ahead! We ended up dancing to "I Swear" by Boys2Men-good song, waaaaay too long. I would suggest "I Love You" sung by either Perry Como or Bing Crosby. It is from the forties but it is beautiful. If it helps you find it to listen to it Cole Porter composed it.
EDIT-You said no old classics, but this one is too beautiful to leave out. Why not old classics anyway? They are great!

Edwin McCain all the way. I had one of my good friend sing that (acoustic) song for my husband and I at our wedding renewal. It was perfect. I love that song.

Good luck.

I know that you said no classics, but listen to Only You by the Platters. It says what you are feeling especially on your wedding day

If your not the one By Daniel Bedingfield. My boyfriend and I are going to use this one. It's a lovely song and it's not one that you hear all the time at weddings.
